The Energy Unit is tasked with promoting policies and programmes that will contribute towards reducing the country’s dependence on imported fuel through the promotion of sustainable energy and energy efficient technologies. The Energy Unit has continued to manage an extensive portfolio of sustainable energy and energy efficiency projects, with a particular focus on solar PV, both on the mainland and within the Grenadines.
